Lasonic recently came out with their Lasonic i931 boombox, which looks sick to every true ghetto blaster fan. The boombox is an iPod boombox that uses an iPod dock to play your music. The i931 features playback of MP3s via an iPod dock, usb port, or SD/MMC card slot. In addition, the i931 has AM/FM radio, remote, mic input, and bass and treble EQ controls. The boombox goes for $120 and is definitely a great gift idea with Christmas looming around.
Coca-Cola teamed up with 8 female Italian fashion designers (Donatella Versace, Alberta Ferretti, Anna Molinari for Blumarine, Veronica Etro, Silvia Venturini for Fendi, Consuelo Castiglioni for Marni, Angela Missoni and Rossella Jardini for Moschino) for a fund raising campaign to support the victims of the earthquake in Abruzzo, Italy. Each Coca-Cola Light bottle was sold at an auction during the “Tribute to Fashion” show in Milan.

Samsung announced its new cameraphone, the SCH-W88o. The cameraphone combines a 12MP camera with a 3G phone. It also features a 3x optical zoom, 720p video recording, WiFi, GPS, dedicated camera controls, and a 800 x 480 3.3-inch AMOLED display. Other features include touch auto focus, image stabilization, Smart Auto (automatically selects the scene according to the environment) and face detection. The SCH-W88o will be released in Korea come early October.

This replica Batmoblie is made from a 1973 Lincoln Continental and took over 3 and half years/20,000 hours to make. The owner also invested $1 million US dollars to build this beast which also comes with a built-in DVD player, voice recognition, hydraulics and reversing cameras.

Targeted to kids and their parents…these Play-Doh Ads just went up in Singapore to address how safe the product is. Although these ads may attract some controversy…hats off to the agency going in a totally different direction than most Play-Doh ads. Nicely Done.
Designer Siwei Liu developed this concept for Toshiba that allows the visually impaired a chance to get their hands on a sleek, sexy but practical designed mobile phone. Although there is no screen, the phone relies on its simple braille design to add easy access to its visually impaired customers.
