Axel Peemöeller

15 07 2009

Came across this guys jaw dropping signage the other day.  Axel Peemöeller developed a way-finding-system for the Eureka Tower Carpark and creatively distorted letters on the wall, which can be read perfectly when standing in the right position. Nicely Done!

Michael Jackson Dies At 50

29 06 2009

I know I’m a bit late on this but being an 80’s kid,  I grew up with MJ spending countless hours singing his songs and imitating his dance moves…so it only made sense for me to put this up as a tribute to the King Of Pop.  We will miss you greatly…RIP.

Apple Meets Rona

6 05 2009

Another amazing guerilla marketing campaign, this one done for “Rona” in Montreal. Nice job playing off of Apple’s already great campaign. For those non French readers, the banner reads: “We recover/recycle your leftover paint”. The size is a bit off but nicely done!

Passion Pit Remix Contest

3 05 2009

Passion Pit came up with a creative contest to remix their lastest track “Little Secrets” off their upcoming album “Manners“.  The jist of it is that they give you snippets of their song and you remix it the way you like. Then everyone votes and the top 5 get a spot on the vinyl, with the 5 runners-up getting the vinyl and an autographed CD of Manners.

Check out the contest Here.  Voting ends May 15th.

FTW-Crew: Adbusting In Berlin

17 01 2009

Guerilla tactics at its finest.  Artists FTW-Crew (Mr. Tailon, Baveux Prod., Kone and Epoxy) superimposed Photoshop stickers over the faces of Britney Spears, Leona Lewis and Christina Aguilera in the Berlin metro.  Their clever form of adbusting was to show the public the steps it takes to make these lovely ladies look so picture perfect.

New Year’s @ NPS

2 01 2009

This years new years was one of the most amazing new years I’ve had in awhile.  Nothing  flashy was planned…just surrounded by a group of amazing friends…old and new.  We ended the nite at Nathan Phillips Square, where a group of us were trying to keep our intoxicated friend from falling off the snow mound that we were on as the countdown took place.  The fireworks were amazing and somehow I ended up at my friends basement, being force fed pizza.  I also found a random watch in my coat pocket which ended up belonging to my drunken friend…so all in all, everything worked out in the end.

But to bring in the new year, here’s a creative piece I worked on which hopefully gets this year off to a right start.

Cheers!

Turkey Bowl 08

14 10 2008

Yesterday our 10th Annual Turkey Bowl took place.  It’s our traditional tackle football game that is held each year on Thanksgiving.  The game was intense right from the get go, with bodies flying and players getting injured by the minute.  This years Turkey Bowl was our longest ever, lasting over 4 hours with the final score of 7-6.  In the end, we ended up having 1 person pulling his hamstring while all the rest of the players encoutered the usual bruised ribs, sprained ankles, scraped knees and of course shattered egos.
Good Game Fellas!!!
