A “New Era” For Star Wars

New Era just released these sick fitted Star Wars caps. Some of the stand-outs include the shiny metallic dome of Artoo, shiny gold for Threepio, slick black for Vader, and furry ear flaps for Chewbacca.

Be prepared, though — these babies don’t come cheap…ranging in price from ¥6,090 ($69) to ¥9,240 ($105), you’ll be wearing quite a bounty on your head.

Clever idea from Agency 303 in Australia. Overlaying an Ikea sliding cabinet door image, forcing you to slide the page to reveal the closet space beneath. Nicely done!

Kickin’ It Oldskool

Lasonic recently came out with their Lasonic i931 boombox, which looks sick to every true ghetto blaster fan. The boombox is an iPod boombox that uses an iPod dock to play your music. The i931 features playback of MP3s via an iPod dock, usb port, or SD/MMC card slot. In addition, the i931 has AM/FM radio, remote, mic input, and bass and treble EQ controls. The boombox goes for $120 and is definitely a great gift idea with Christmas looming around.

Coke Meets Fashion

Coca-Cola teamed up with 8 female Italian fashion designers (Donatella Versace, Alberta Ferretti, Anna Molinari for Blumarine, Veronica Etro, Silvia Venturini for Fendi, Consuelo Castiglioni for Marni, Angela Missoni and Rossella Jardini for Moschino) for a fund raising campaign to support the victims of the earthquake in Abruzzo, Italy. Each Coca-Cola Light bottle was sold at an auction during the “Tribute to Fashion” show in Milan.

Playstation 4 Concept

Not waiting for the next generation of consoles to come out. Australian designer Tai Chiem developed a concept for the Playstation 4. A tactile model combining plastic and glass, gives it that futuristic look. Nicely Done!
